The Japan Academy edits and publishes three periodically issued journals. Each contains academic papers authored by its members and other eminent researchers presented at the Academy's general meetings.

Carried in this journal are reviews and original papers, including “short communications,” on subjects in the natural sciences, other than mathematics. All of the papers published in it can be accessed free of charge on the J-STAGE website.
This is a Japanese-language journal that compiles papers on subjects related to the humanities and social sciences and articles about the Academy's general meetings and the members' visits to overseas academies.
